Privacy policy

Last updated: 13 September 2026

Proppeteer handles personal data with care. This policy explains what we process for the website, demo requests and the CRM platform, and what rights you have.

1. Controller

Proppeteer (Belgium) is the controller for the data in this policy. Contact: info@proppeteer.com, including privacy requests.

2. Scope

This policy covers visitors to the public website, people who request a demo or information, and users of the platform on behalf of an agency. Data an agency processes about its own clients sits with that agency. Where Proppeteer only follows instructions, we may act as a processor. That is set in the customer agreement.

3. What we process

Identity and contact (name, role, office, email, phone). Account and contract data. File content the office uploads. Technical logs (IP, browser, security). Communications you send us.

4. Purposes

Providing the platform (including AI on your file data), relationship management and demo follow-up, billing, security, lawful product improvement, and legal duties. Direct marketing only where allowed.

5. Legal bases

Contract or pre-contractual steps, legitimate interest (security, limited analytics, professional communication), consent where required, and legal obligation.

6. Retention

No longer than needed. Contract administration for the relationship plus statutory limitation. Invoices up to 7 years where Belgian law requires. Marketing until consent is withdrawn.

7. Processors and transfers

We do not sell personal data. Sub-processors (hosting, email, cloud/AI) work under Art. 28 GDPR contracts. Transfers outside the EEA use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

8. Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability where applicable, withdrawal of consent. Requests: info@proppeteer.com. Complaint: Belgian Data Protection Authority, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be.

9. Security

Appropriate technical and organisational measures: encryption in transit and at rest, access control, isolation per office.
